About the Role
Assistant Restaurant Manager / Team Leader (Jiang-Nan Chun Restaurant)
Lead with excellence at one of Singapore's most celebrated Cantonese dining destinations.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager / Team Leader at Jiang-Nan Chun, you will be instrumental in shaping exceptional dining experiences while inspiring a team dedicated to delivering intuitive, refined, and personalised service. Working alongside the Restaurant Manager, you will champion operational excellence, develop talent, and create a culture where every team member is empowered to perform at their best.

What You Will Do
You will lead by example on the restaurant floor, creating memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and flawless execution. By anticipating guest needs and coaching your team in the art of intuitive service, you will ensure every guest interaction reflects an exceptional dining experience.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, from service planning and team deployment to inventory management and operational excellence. You will cultivate a high-performing team through coaching, onboarding, and continuous development, while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
You will identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey, maximise revenue through thoughtful menu recommendations and cost efficiency, and ensure the restaurant consistently operates at the highest standards of quality, presentation, safety, and service.
What You Bring
Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage experience within a luxury brand or Michelin-starred restaurant, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and leading service excellence
Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build meaningful relationships with guests and colleagues
Commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of restaurant operations, quality standards, and Microsoft Office applications
