Position Overview

The Florists Assistant is responsible for the daily upkeep of all florals in the hotel.

The Role

Florists Operations

• To ensure that all floral arrangements on the hotel grounds are maintained in a fresh and presentable condition

• Involved in the execution of all floral arrangements for weddings and corporate events

• Respond to all orders from the various departments' flower requests in an efficient manner

• Responsible for all housekeeping matters in the florist department. This involves the regular clearing and cleaning of work stations, surrounding areas, cold rooms, and vase storage spaces

• Check on stock levels of flowers and ensure they are replenished when needed.

• Check on all incoming deliveries to ensure order quantities and quality are in good order

Talent Profile

• Prior experience in floral arrangement

• Basic computer knowledge

• Good with arts and crafts
