About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and network infrastructure.

• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

• Perform routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and system patching.

• Manage network services such as DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.

• Support firewall administration and network security initiatives.

• Investigate and troubleshoot network incidents and perform root cause analysis.

• Assist with network upgrades, optimisation, and infrastructure projects.

• Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams.

• Work closely with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure reliable IT operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure support.

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, or similar networking equipment.

• Experience with firewall administration and network monitoring tools is an advantage.

• Exposure to VMware, Nutanix, or cloud networking will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
