About the role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Associate Sales Engineer to support the growth of our Equipment Rental, Equipment Sales and Sustainable Power Solutions business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing suitable equipment and power solution recommendations to customers. This role is well suited to fresh graduates seeking to build a career in technical sales, as comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided.
Key responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities across equipment rental, equipment sales and sustainable power solutions
Prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals and site visits
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, engineers, project managers and industrial customers
Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate equipment or power solutions
Conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations
Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions
Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities
Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure a positive customer experience
Follow up on enquiries and maintain long-term customer relationships
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and market developments
About you
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related discipline
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Prior sales or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident, proactive and results-oriented approach
Willingness to learn technical products and new technologies
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic SME environment
