About PurpleForest Events

PurpleForest Events is a Singapore-based events agency with more than 15 years' experience delivering conferences, corporate events, government projects, award ceremonies, product launches and international meetings. We are a close-knit team that values professionalism, accountability and continuous learning. Our work spans government agencies, associations and corporate clients — events that demand strong planning, attention to detail and service excellence.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and dependable Senior Event Executive to lead the planning and delivery of conferences, corporate events, government projects and association events.

This role suits an event professional with 2–3 years of relevant experience who can independently manage client enquiries, prepare quotations, coordinate stakeholders and drive projects from planning through to execution. You will gain exposure to government-sector conferences, international meetings, ministerial-level ceremonies and other high-profile events where precision, professionalism and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client enquiries professionally and build strong, lasting working relationships.

  • Understand client requirements and develop suitable event solutions.

  • Prepare quotations, budgets, timelines and project plans independently.

  • Plan and execute conferences, corporate events, award ceremonies, launches and government-sector projects.

  • Coordinate clients, venues, vendors, speakers, production partners and other stakeholders.

  • Monitor timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure successful event outcomes.

  • Anticipate risks and resolve operational issues effectively during planning and on-site execution.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and event records.

  • Guide and support junior Event Executives where required.

  • Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in conference, corporate event, MICE or event project management.

  • Proven ability to independently manage client enquiries and prepare event quotations.

  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong written and spoken English — the role involves preparing quotations, proposals and event plans, and coordinating with clients, government agencies, vendors and international stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Self-motivated, dependable and able to work to deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams and other workplace productivity tools.

  • Positive team-player mindset and willingness to support colleagues.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

  • Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.

Preferred

  • Experience managing government, association or conference projects.

  • Experience coordinating events with approximately 150–300 attendees.

  • Familiarity with budgeting, procurement and vendor management.

  • Experience with event registration platforms such as GEVME.

  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Planner.

Why Join Us

  • High-Profile Projects — Government-sector conferences, ministerial-level ceremonies, association events and corporate projects that make a meaningful impact.

  • Career Progression — A clear pathway from Executive to Management, supported by mentoring and growing responsibility.

  • Flexible, Trust-Based Culture — We focus on accountability, ownership and results rather than micromanagement.

  • Dedicated Work Mobile — A company-issued phone and number to keep work and personal life separate.

  • Supportive Team — Short communication lines and a culture where colleagues genuinely back one another.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Salary: From SGD 3,800/month, commensurate with experience and capability.

  • Annual Leave: 14 days, in addition to public holidays.

  • Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 10.00am–6.00pm; Sat 9.00am–1.00pm (usually only on event activation). Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during event periods.

  • Off-in-Lieu: Full-day weekend or public-holiday event activations are recognised with Off-in-Lieu — the extra time you give during peak periods is given back to you.

  • Staff Welfare: Taxi fares to and from venues for early starts and late finishes; covered transport for urgent delivery runs; dinner allowance for late overtime.

Application

Interested applicants are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover note to job•@purpleforest.com.sg, indicating "Senior Event Executive" in the subject line. We review applications on a rolling basis; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
