Coinut is a Singapore-based digital asset and payment infrastructure company providing businesses with secure, compliant, and efficient cross-border payment and settlement solutions across fiat currencies, stablecoins, and digital assets.
As our business grows, we have identified commodity trading as a strategic customer segment with significant long-term potential. We have already begun serving customers in this industry and are now looking to build a dedicated capability to better understand and serve their needs.
About the Role
This is not a traditional sales role.
We are looking for someone who can help Coinut build and grow our Commodity Trading business. While business development is an important part of the role, we are equally looking for someone who can bring industry knowledge, identify market opportunities, and help shape our strategy for serving commodity trading companies.
You will work directly with senior management to understand the industry's payment and settlement challenges, develop our market approach, establish industry relationships, and build a scalable business for this customer segment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow Coinut's Commodity Trading business.
Identify and build relationships with commodity trading companies and strategic partners.
Understand customer pain points in cross-border payments, settlement, liquidity, FX, and trade finance.
Conduct customer discovery and market research to identify opportunities for Coinut.
Advise management on industry trends, customer needs, and market opportunities.
Work closely with Compliance and Operations to improve onboarding processes and customer experience.
Collaborate with Product and Management to develop solutions tailored to commodity trading companies.
Represent Coinut at customer meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
Develop a scalable sales strategy and contribute to long-term revenue growth for the commodity trading segment.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Relationship Management, Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Commodity Trading, Treasury, or related industries.
Strong understanding of international trade, cross-border payments, trade finance, or commodity trading operations.
Experience working with or serving commodity trading companies is highly desirable.
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
Commercially driven with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where you will help shape a new business vertical.

Develop meaningful relationships with customers and strategic partners.
Define Coinut's value proposition for commodity trading companies.
Build a repeatable sales and onboarding playbook for this customer segment.
Grow transaction volume and revenue from commodity trading customers.
Position Coinut as a trusted payment and settlement partner for the commodity trading industry.
