Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct engaging enrichment lessons in English using the Kuno Method curriculum
Create a fun, interactive and nurturing classroom where children learn through play, discovery and experiential learning
Assess children's learning progress against the lesson's learning objectives
Provide lesson updates to parents in English (main) and Mandarin (supplementary)
Prepare lesson materials and maintain a safe, organised classroom.
A successful Kuno Method teacher is one who is:
able to make lessons feel like play and lead children to learn through experiential learning and inquiry
detailed and analytical, learns fast, likes brain teasers and puzzles
communicates confidently with children, parents and colleagues.
positive, calm, patient, cheerful, able to build strong relationships
learns quickly, works independently and is committed to continuous improvement.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline
Diploma from polytechnics in Singapore
Candidates with qualifications in Psychology / Early Childhood Education or teaching experience will have an advantage
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. No experience required as coaching will be provided
Prior teaching or enrichment experience is beneficial but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided
Proven academic records in English and Maths
Working hours and benefits:
5-day work week from Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)
