Design Engineer (heavy machine/hydraulic system) - #1165667

• Design and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems in accordance with engineering standards, industry best practices, and project specifications.

• Perform engineering calculations and select appropriate mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components to meet functional and performance requirements.

• Design steel structures and integrate mechanical and hydraulic assemblies into complete equipment solutions.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals.

• Conduct system assembly verification, functional testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities both in the factory and at customer sites, including container terminals.

• Provide technical support to the Sales, Production, and After-Sales teams by offering engineering expertise, resolving technical issues, and supporting project execution.

• Deliver product training and technical guidance to internal teams and customers when required.

• Participate in design reviews and continuously improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Experience in the design of machinery, mechanical systems, mechanisms, and hydraulic systems, preferably within heavy industries such as cranes, port equipment, construction machinery, or material handling systems.

• Proficient in 3D CAD software with the ability to perform engineering calculations and design analysis based on recognised engineering standards.

• Good understanding of steel fabrication, welding, machining, and manufacturing processes is an advantage.

• Experience in mechanical system integration, component selection, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting is preferred.
