Location: Orchard
Salary: Basic $2.6k to $3k + Transport Allowance: $120/month + Mobile Allowance: $25/ month + 1 month completion bonus
Duration: Perm
Working hours: 4days work 1 day off rotation (Morning Shift - 8.30am to 4.30pm, Afternoon Shift- 3pm to 11pm) There might be A1 shift (not many 0-3 times per month - 5pm to 1am) - allowance will be given for this shift, allowance will be basic salary per hour X 1.5 rate X 2 + meal allowance $10 + Taxi Claim

Job Scope:

• Carry out joint inspections with tenants and their contractors for fitting-out works and reinstatement activities.

• Perform basic maintenance and repair works related to building services such as ACMV systems, electrical installations, plumbing, and sanitary fittings.

• Conduct chemical cleaning and servicing of kitchen hood filters for specialty restaurants.

• Perform routine inspections of common areas within the shopping mall and tenant units when required.

• Maintain and update daily maintenance logs as well as weekly and monthly inspection records.

• Identify and report building defects including power interruptions, water leaks, air-conditioning faults, and other maintenance issues.

• Inspect fire safety systems such as fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and dry risers to ensure proper functioning.

• Assist the landlord or management team with repair and maintenance works related to building facilities.

• Support night maintenance operations, including works such as KWP replacement and other technical servicing tasks.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as assigned by the supervisor.

• Request and prepare the necessary spare parts or materials needed to complete maintenance work (e.g., public address system repairs).

• Follow workplace safety guidelines and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform any other duties assigned by management when required.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of inhouse shopping mall experience in facilities management or building maintenance, preferably within commercial properties.

• Basic knowledge of building services and mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems.

• Minimum qualification of NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Air Conditioning, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience in electrical systems, plumbing, sanitary works, general building maintenance, or ACMV systems will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with audio-visual systems maintenance or troubleshooting is preferred.

• Willing to work overtime when required to support operational needs.
