Service Engineer (Chiller) DP9 - #1165592

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for chiller systems, ensuring timely completion and follow-up of maintenance activities.

• Perform maintenance in accordance with prescribed checklists, procedures, and schedules.

• Carry out testing, commissioning, and fine-tuning of new chillers with minimal supervision, including coordinating site activities, witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and conducting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to verify performance.

• Interpret as-built drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve chiller system issues.

• Manage on-site chiller overhaul and repair works, including supervising subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely project completion.

• Prepare accurate service reports and maintenance documentation for each service assignment.

• Provide prompt technical support to customers, resolve service issues effectively, and recommend preventive maintenance measures.

• Conduct risk assessments before service and repair works and ensure compliance with all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements

• ITE Certificate in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience in troubleshooting and guiding the repair of HVAC systems, particularly modular screw chillers, centrifugal chillers, and absorption chillers.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety with a good WSH mindset.

• Willing to travel overseas for short-term assignments when required.
