Our Client, a Singapore-based agricultural company, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as HR Generalist.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Administration & Records
Maintain and update employee records, HR systems and personnel files.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all employee-related information.
Prepare and maintain HR documents, employment records and monthly HR reports.
Support general HR and administrative duties as assigned by Management.
Payroll & Claims
Process monthly payroll and prepare payroll reports for Finance.
Consolidate payroll-related information such as overtime, allowances and leave records.
Assist with medical claims, insurance matters and other staff claims where applicable.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Support the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and onboarding.
Prepare employment documentation and assist with orientation for new staff.
Support offboarding matters and ensure proper documentation is completed.
HR Policies, SOPs & Compliance
Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies, SOPs and employee guidelines.
Ensure HR practices are aligned with company requirements and local employment regulations.
Support the HR Manager in reviewing and improving HR processes.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Support
Assist in compensation, benefits and reward-related matters.
Support performance appraisal, incentive and staff retention initiatives where required.
Assist in coordinating staff training, SDF applications and staff development records.
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Act as the HR contact point for employee and foreign worker feedback, concerns and grievances.
Assist the HR Manager in handling employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, welfare issues, accommodation-related feedback and interpersonal conflicts.
Maintain proper records of grievances, follow-up actions and resolutions in a confidential manner.
Coordinate with Management, Production Head and Maintenance where required to understand issues and follow up on corrective actions.
Escalate serious or sensitive matters to the HR Manager / Management promptly.
Foreign Worker Welfare & Accommodation Coordination
Assist the HR Manager in coordinating foreign worker welfare and accommodation-related matters.
Maintain proper records of worker accommodation, dormitory allocation, worker movement and related HR documentation.
Act as the HR contact point for workers on accommodation, welfare and living-condition matters.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Production and Management to ensure workers’ accommodation remains safe, clean and properly maintained.
Assist in arranging dormitory inspections, follow-up actions, repairs and improvement works where required.
Support the company in maintaining proper compliance records relating to worker accommodation, approved occupancy, dormitory licence and relevant authority submissions.
Assist with planning and coordination for future dormitory expansion to support operational manpower needs.
General Administration
Assist with office administration matters such as mail, vendor coordination, events and other ad-hoc duties.
Support management and department heads on HR-related administrative matters.
REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience
Experience in payroll, recruitment, work pass matters and employee records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Location: West
Working Days/Hours: 5 days/Office hours, 8am - 5pm / 8am - 5.30pm
Salary: Up till $4,000 (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
