The Role:
Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network connectivity for the Bus ETA ecosystem, including data centre and communications infrastructure.
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related network components.
Monitor network performance, identify connectivity issues proactively, and ensure uninterrupted ETA data transmission services.
Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and leased-line connectivity while coordinating with telecommunications providers and external vendors.
Configure network redundancy, routing policies, and failover solutions to maximise system availability and minimise service disruptions.
Diagnose and resolve network incidents, driving timely restoration activities and root cause analysis.
Perform network capacity planning, optimisation, and continuous performance improvements to support operational requirements.
Implement network security controls, access management processes, and infrastructure hardening measures to safeguard critical systems.
Support network equipment lifecycle management, including hardware upgrades, replacements, and data centre infrastructure changes.
Maintain accurate network documentation, configuration backups, and technical records to support operational readiness and compliance.
What Are We Looking For?
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience managing enterprise network environments, including routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent technologies.
Familiarity with high-availability network architectures, redundancy design, and failover mechanisms.
Experience working with telecommunications providers and managing leased-line connectivity services.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident management skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to support critical operations, including participation in business continuity planning and standby support when required.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and vendors.
A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to service reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
