About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Sales Intern / Sales Apprentice to join our Singapore team.
This role is suitable for final-year students, fresh graduates, or candidates who are interested in starting a career in B2B sales, business development, Data-as-a-Service, digital platforms, and global markets.
As a Sales Intern / Apprentice, you will support the sales team in identifying potential clients, reaching out to prospects, understanding customer needs, assisting with product introductions, and managing follow-ups. You will gain hands-on exposure to real sales processes, client communication, and global trade intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support the sales team in researching and identifying potential business opportunities
Assist with outbound prospecting through emails, calls, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels
Engage potential clients to understand their business needs and areas of interest
Introduce TradeInt’s global trade data platform to prospective customers
Assist in preparing product introductions, demo materials, and client follow-ups
Support inbound enquiries generated from marketing campaigns and website traffic
Help maintain lead records, client information, and follow-up status
Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to support lead generation activities
Learn how to conduct product demos and explain platform features professionally
Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitor information to the team
Support other sales and business development tasks when required
Requirements
Final-year students are preferred for internship opportunities
Fresh graduates or candidates looking to start a career in sales are also welcome to apply
Prior sales experience is not required, but experience in sales, business development, customer service, marketing, or other client-facing roles will be an advantage
Internship, marketing, business development, or client-facing experience will be an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable speaking with clients
Interested in sales, business development, digital platforms, Data-as-a-Service, data-driven solutions, or international trade
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Professional, reliable, and motivated to achieve sales targets
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory, as the role requires communication with English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking clients and companies
Candidates who are eligible to work in Singapore are preferred
