Assistant Accountant (Fixed Asset) - #1165289

Job Responsibilities

Fixed Asset Management

• Responsible for the Fixed Asset (FA) function, including FA master data maintenance such as capitalisation, disposal, transfers, and write-offs, as well as monthly FA closing, reconciliation, and preparation of related audit schedules.

• Review Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounts and manage CapEx requisition projects to ensure proper tracking and timely capitalisation.

• Ensure compliance with fixed asset accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.

• Coordinate and conduct the annual fixed asset physical count and address related audit queries.

• Support grant claim submission and audit.

Spare Parts Management

• Liaise with Operations team to ensure spare parts inventory movements are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts.

Others

• Manage and process employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.

• Support the Accounts Payable (AP) process by assisting with invoice verification and other related tasks.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned, including project management for initiatives related to the above job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Fixed Asset or AP

• Experience in semiconductor/manufacturing industry or MNC is preferred

• Prior experience in SAP or similar ERP is preferred

• Organized, meticulous, analytical and possess a positive work attitude

• Hands-on individual and able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Good interpersonal and communications skills
