Responsibilities:

• Manage annual renewal processes for a portfolio of existing corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and long-term partnerships
• Assess clients’ evolving business needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions and coverage enhancements
• Gather and analyse client information to evaluate risk profile changes and coordinate coverage with internal stakeholders
• Present and explain policy terms, coverage options, and renewal proposals to clients
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless and efficient policy renewals
• Support new business opportunities through referrals and internal sales channels
• Respond to client enquiries and provide appropriate insurance recommendations
• Conduct client visits where required to support relationship management and business development efforts
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts
• Liaise with headquarters on insurance programmes, reporting, and related matters
• Support claims servicing processes to enhance overall client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Experience in client-facing sales, account management, relationship management, or customer service involving intangible products or services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Experience in general/commercial insurance is an added advantage
• Experience managing corporate clients within an insurance company is an added advantage
• Experience handling end-customers directly rather than via intermediaries is an added advantage
• Experience serving Japanese corporate clients is an added advantage
