Management Accountant - #1165141

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate regional month-end management reporting packs and financial disclosures before HQ submission.

• Analyze financial performance, cost trends, and balance sheet movements to identify abnormalities and risk exposure.

• Liaise with country finance teams to clarify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of reporting issues.

• Ensure compliance with HQ Finance Manual, group financial policies, and internal control procedures.

• Monitor key financial controls including fixed assets, bank reconciliations, bad debt provisions, and balance sheet schedules.

• Support continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.

• Conduct follow-up discussions, training sessions, and issue tracking to prevent recurrence of finance and reporting issues.

• Prepare monthly management and Excom reports, including financial analysis and presentation of key highlights.

• Review and consolidate annual budgets, reforecasts, and statutory audit reports, and coordinate approvals with HQ.

• Support corporate secretarial matters, M&A administrative activities, cash flow monitoring, and other ad-hoc finance assignments.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting / ACCA or related discipline and above.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Accountant role.

• Must be analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to analyse and summarize complex information.

• Strong understanding of current accounting and business principles to interpret data and make recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint, and accounting software programs.

• Team player and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
