Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services, or a related engineering discipline.

• 0–3 years of engineering experience preferred.

• Experience in lifts, M&E services, automation, manufacturing, or construction will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

• Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant engineering experience are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills

• Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.

• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and technical proposals.

• Knowledge of Singapore lift codes and regulations (e.g. SS 550, SS 636, Fire Code and BFA requirements) will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willing to conduct site surveys and provide technical support when required.

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing technical proposals and RFQs for New Installation (NI) and Modernization projects.

• Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and collect site measurements.

• Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, and project reports.

• Provide technical support for product selection, system configuration, and general engineering enquiries.

• Assist in developing modernization solutions, technical layouts, and engineering plans.

• Support research and development (R&D) of lift products and engineering solutions.

• Review technical specifications, drawings, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Assist in preparing regulatory submission documents and supporting technical information where required.

• Liaise with the Sales, Project, Procurement, and Service Departments to provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support troubleshooting, technical investigations, and root cause analysis for engineering issues.

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of engineering standards, workflows, and technical procedures.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Technical Manager.
