Responsibilities:
• Manage maintenance and support operations of the District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) sites and other field works.
• Manage a team of plant engineers/technical specialists in the analysis and optimisation of DCS & RCM operations & maintenance.
• Coordinate with Operations team on troubleshooting of any technical issue of DCS and RCM.
• Monitor the performance of equipment, recommend appropriate modifications and provide innovative ideas on any improvement projects.
• Create and implement operations and maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for implementation and execution of Permit To Work system, make sure maintenance team carry out appropriate site assessments and preform correct isolation/de-isolation.
• Lead and supervise all maintenance processes including contract management.
• Responsible for the preparation and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance schedule of equipment and to ensure that work methods are implemented and comply with the establish standards and procedure.
• Plan, implement and monitor service and maintenance programme of DCS plants’ facilities.
• Plan and manage repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
• Review and improve maintenance program.
• Review contractor’s maintenance reports and plan necessary maintenance activities.
• Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
• Perform spares analysis to ensure critical spares availability.
• Submit maintenance performance reports.
• Upkeep of all maintenance documentation.
• Support all internal/external audits.
• Support all statutory information/data submission.
• Ensure operations and maintenance activities compliance with all the EHS rules and regulations.
• Improve health, safety, and environmental aspects of the company by taking all responsible steps to protect the health and safety of themselves, their colleagues and other members of the community.
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.
Requirements:
Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation, or Air-conditioning Engineering. Candidates with Higher NITEC qualifications and relevant experience in District Heating & Cooling Systems (DHCS) are also welcomed.
Demonstrated interest in building a career within the cooling systems sector.
Solid understanding of the technical features related to ACMV and District Cooling Systems.
Practical experience with Energy Management Systems, local and remote control, monitoring systems, and instrumentation.
Familiarity with facilities, machines, and equipment maintenance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
