Job Purpose

The Warehouse Team Lead will assist the Assistant Manager, Warehouse in overseeing and managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and timely processes related to receiving, storage, order processing, and delivery. This role includes supervising and training the warehouse team to ensure smooth operational workflows and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

· Supervise and lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and processing orders from the online platform, customers and transfers between warehouse and stores, meeting fulfillment targets.

· Lead, motivate, and encourage teamwork within the warehouse team and assist in setting and achieving operational goals and objectives, while contributing to team performance.

· Investigate and resolve issues related to order discrepancies and customer complaints. And participate in cycle count and stock count.

· Supervise the identification, assessment, and management of workplace safety and health risks, ensuring the implementation of effective control measures to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

· Maintenance of accurate records and reports on warehouse activities, team performance, and equipment usage. Produce regular reports and statistics of operation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

· Investigate and resolve issues related to warehouse matters such as order discrepancies and customer complaints. And participate in cycle count and stock count.

· Coordinate regular cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

· Perform related duties and project work assigned

Job Requirements

· Diploma holders with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations.

· Able to use material handling equipment efficiently, manage the usage and training of all equipment. Those with a forklift license are an advantage.

· Must have strong leadership qualities; to monitor, lead & train a team to carry out their daily work duties accordingly.

· Positive mindset to continuously strive& achieve high performance standard for the warehouse. Able to go the extra mile to carry out superior instructions.

· Attention to detail and communicate clearly & give detailed work instructions to team members.
