Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Service Officer to provide excellent customer support and ensure smooth coordination of daily order fulfilment and logistics operations. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners to ensure timely processing of orders and shipment documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide professional customer service.
Process customer orders, including stock allocation, delivery orders, and invoicing.
Handle customer claims and follow up on resolutions.
Coordinate with freight forwarders on shipment bookings, pickups, fumigation arrangements, and shipment schedules.
Prepare import and export documentation, including Certificates of Origin and Letter of Credit documents where applicable.
Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping of import and export documentation.
Perform reception duties, including handling incoming phone calls and general enquiries.
Provide general administrative support and assist with other assigned duties.
Requirements
Diploma in Logistics, Customer Service, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in logistics, customer service, or order processing.
Knowledge of import/export documentation, Certificates of Origin, and Letter of Credit documentation will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other office software.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
