Help shape inclusive preschool environments and mentor the next generation of therapists.

Join a multidisciplinary team supporting children with communication and developmental needs while driving inclusive practices across preschool settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop intervention plans for children with communication needs.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions embedded within preschool routines and classroom environments.

• Partner with educators, families and therapists to support children's communication and participation across settings.

• Provide consultation, coaching and training for educators and caregivers.

• Lead case discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary intervention planning.

• Mentor and provide clinical guidance to junior therapists and Learning Support Educators (LSEds).

• Support programme development, service improvement initiatives and resource creation.

• Contribute to workshops, parent engagement sessions and educator training programmes.

• Maintain case documentation and progress reports in accordance with professional standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Master's in Speech and Language Therapy recognised by AHPC.

• Full registration with AHPC.

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in early intervention, preschool or educational settings.

• Prior experience in mentoring, supervision or clinical leadership.

• Experience working within multidisciplinary or transdisciplinary teams will be advantageous.

• Strong communication, case management and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Passion for inclusion and supporting young children with diverse learning needs.
