Quantity Surveyor (Interior) - #1164274

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents to determine accurate quantities and materials.

• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ).

• Monitor project budgets and track variations or changes in scope.

• Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure work aligns with cost plans.

• Assess and certify subcontractor payments and final accounts.

• Advise project teams on cost-saving strategies and value engineering.

• Liaise with clients, designers, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field.

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience, particularly in interior fit-out projects.

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods used in interior works.

• Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with local building codes, contract law, and procurement processes.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in residential, commercial, retail interior projects.

• Familiar with AutoCAD and interior design drawings.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
