About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the full spectrum of accounting functions, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements that support the organisation's continued growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including the general ledger and financial records.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports, and sustainability-related reports where applicable.

• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to facilitate business planning and decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic finance initiatives.

• Maintain effective internal controls and support risk management initiatives.

• Lead inventory stock counts and ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records.

• Drive continuous improvements to finance processes and support ERP system optimisation.

Requirements

• ACCA or an equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a full Accountant role, including responsibilities in general ledger management, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems. Familiarity with Odoo will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

• Meticulous, proactive and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous but Not Mandatory)

• Experience in the food manufacturing, FMCG or wholesale industry.

• Familiarity with Odoo or AutoCount ERP systems.
