About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our quality assurance team in the North-East Region. This is a full-time position working 5 days per week, offering an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality within semiconductor manufacturing and electronic components production. As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality specifications and industry standards before they reach our customers. This role is essential to our manufacturing operations, directly impacting product excellence, customer satisfaction, and the company's reputation in a highly competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming and outgoing visual inspections of semiconductor and electronic components using a microscope, magnification scope, digital calliper, and multimeter.

• Identify defects, discrepancies, or quality issues, and prepare inspection reports or discrepancy emails.

• Check part markings, labels, part numbers, date codes, and specifications against manufacturer datasheets and company records.

• Search for and review manufacturer datasheets using the manufacturer's website and Z2Data to verify component information.

• Perform bin checks, relabel components with A2 labels, and repackage products according to company procedures and Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) requirements.

• Handle electronic components carefully to prevent damage during inspection and repackaging.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and carry out other quality control duties assigned by the Supervisor.

What we're looking for

• GCE O Level or NITEC in any qualification

• Prior experience in QC inspection, semiconductor, manufacturing, or electronic components industry preferred.

• Skilled in using microscope, caliper, multimeter, or similar inspection equipment.

• Able to read and interpret electronic component datasheets, labels, and markings.

• Understanding to read technical information and inspection instructions.

• Strong attention to detail with good dexterity and hand-eye coordination when handling small components.

• Able to work well in a team and follow quality procedures.
