Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning and strategies for group Singapore entities to optimize tax efficiency and compliance with applicable regulations.

2. Provide expert guidance to group Singapore entities on Economic Substance compliance.

3. Manage and oversee the application process for Singapore tax resident certificate, ensuring all submissions to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) meet regulatory requirements.

4. Oversee corporate tax filings and maintain compliance with local tax regulations, ensuring adherence to local regulations.

5. Assume full responsibility for financial accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Supervise financial reporting to ensure the integrity of financial data.

6. Provide strategic oversight on legal and corporate secretarial matters in collaboration with external advisors.

7. Integrate and manage financial, legal, and tax functions to establish a cohesive operational framework.

8. Advise the board and senior management on financial planning, risk management, and long-term business strategy, aligning financial practices with organizational goals.

Job Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable accounting firm or a multinational corporation based in Singapore, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in International Taxation. Proven experience managing Singapore-specific tax matters, including tax resident applications, along with a deep understanding of the Economic Substance requirements.

3. Fluent in both Mandarin and English for effective communication with stakeholders across various regions.

4. Strong leadership qualities with excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making and team management.
