Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation software following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Design, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI control systems.

• Prepare functional specifications, electrical schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Perform system implementation, commissioning, testing, and debugging of automation equipment.

• Support electrical wiring, control panel testing, and troubleshooting activities.

• Analyze customer requirements and provide automation solutions that meet project specifications.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

• Maintain project documentation and software records.

• Provide remote and on-site technical support when required.

• Travel overseas for project support and commissioning when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming, automation, or semiconductor equipment.

• Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming (preferably Omron, Mitsubishi PLC and Pro-face HMI).

• Able to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and control systems.

• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, EtherCAT, or Ethernet/IP is an advantage.

• Experience in motion control, PID, analog, or process control will be an added advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to provide after-office-hours support and travel overseas when required.
