Temp Dental Assistant (2-3 Months) - #1163688

Job Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during various dental procedures.

• Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, and materials before procedures.

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care instructions.

• Maintain infection prevention and control standards, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.

• Clean, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate clinic bookings.

• Attend to patient enquiries and provide excellent customer service.

• Handle billing, payment collection, and CHAS claims processing.

• Manage inventory of dental supplies and coordinate stock replenishment with vendors.

• Perform other administrative and ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' / 'O' Levels, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant will be advantageous.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-oriented mindset.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Able to commit to a 2–3 months temporary assignment.
