Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract) - #1163637

Responsibilities:

• Taking off quantity for materials and resources basing on project requirements.

• Identify and source appropriate materials and vendors basing project requirements.

• Communicate and negotiate with vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing.

• Develop detailed quotations / costing documents for projects (government & private projects).

• Analyse costing for individual projects basing on company marketing direction / strategy.

• Attend site / tender briefing for individual projects

• Attend meetings (internal / external) for costing discussion / presentation

• Liaise and work with individual departments (design team, M&E team, etc)

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent

• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore

• Be meticulous, cost conscious, independent, highly motivated and a good team player.

• Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• With experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior design / interior fitting out or related fields in Singapore is preferred

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Familiarity with construction contracts and tender processes.

• Proficiency in relevant software for quantity take-offs and contract management.
