ELV Engineer / Senior Technician (Access Control) - #1163627

Key Responsibilities

• Design system layouts, wiring diagrams, and network architecture for IP-based Access Control and Time Attendance Systems.

• Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and commission:

  • IP Access Control Systems

  • Time Attendance Systems

  • Video Intercom Systems

  • Smart Home Systems

• Configure controllers, biometric readers, network devices, and related software.

• Perform software installation, database setup, and system programming.

• Carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical support.

• Provide on-site training to customers and end users.

• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Access Control, Time Attendance, CCTV, or Smart Home System Integration.

• Experience with SUPREMA BioStar will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of:

  • TCP/IP Networking

  • IP Addressing

  • Routers and Switches

  • Structured Cabling

  • Network Troubleshooting

• Able to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.

• Hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems.

• Familiarity with Windows Server and SQL Database will be an advantage.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Responsible, independent, and willing to learn.

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence (required).
