Job Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions.
Ensure all invoices are properly verified, supported by relevant documentation, and accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Prepare Statements of Account and follow up on outstanding collections.
Reconcile vendors' accounts and prepare payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including invoice mismatches and payment errors, and respond to inquiries from vendors and customers.
Process petty cash claims and other operational expenses accurately and timely.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.
Maintain proper filing and documentation records in an organized and accurate manner.
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline work processes.
Perform ad hoc administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Accounting.
Minimum 1 years of working experience in the related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, and familiar with accounting software.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Adaptable and a quick learner, with a willingness to learn new systems.
Able to display continuous improvement and multi-tasking competencies.
Reliable with punctual attendance.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and contribution.
Able to start work within short notice will have an added advantage.
