Finance Manager - #1163417

Duties and responsibilities :

• Prepare monthly management accounts & cash flow statement to holding company, including variance analysis & commentary on financial performance against budget.

• Develop and manage annual business plans, budgets ,forecasts & internal control policies and procedures

• Review and overseas accounting schedules (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, balance sheet & P&L accounts, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements ,accounting standards, tax regulations & internal company policies.

• Manage all banking and treasury matters, including cash management, payments processing, and relationships with banks.

• Oversee tax compliance matters, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, GST and transfer pricing documentation; liaise with external tax agents and regulatory authorities.

• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team and support management on financial planning and business decisions

• Monitor project costing, work-in-progress (WIP), and percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting

• Perform any ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management

Job Requirement :

• Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification

• At least 8-10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to the construction industry

• Meticulous, detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Posses a strong sense of responsibility, integrity & professionalism

• Working knowledge of project / percentage-of-completion accounting

• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, taxation & statutory compliance requirement

• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting

• Possess leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
