Asst Director, Healthcare Research & Analytics (Exp In Securing New Grants) - #1163371

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join as an Assistant Director. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving research initiatives that inform and improve healthcare delivery and policy in Singapore Healthcare and Institutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in clinical research, team leadership, and grant acquisition within the healthcare and AI ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage research teams to work with Clinicians to deliver high-impact health service outcome studies.

• Design, implement, and evaluate clinical research projects aligned with national healthcare priorities.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, academic partners, and government agencies.

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including competitive grants within the healthcare and AI research landscape.

• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to capacity building within the department.

• Translate research findings into actionable insights for policy and practice.

Requirements

• Master in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams. At least 4 years in managerial role.

• Has experiences in health service operations research or related field, with a strong understanding of the Singapore healthcare landscape (an advantage).

• Proven track record in clinical research design, implementation (project management), and evaluation of various scale of projects.

• Demonstrated success in securing research grants, particularly in healthcare and AI domains.

• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (an advantage).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to align research with organizational goals.

• Passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based research.

• Familiarity with health data analytics and AI applications in healthcare.

• Experienced in leading teams and a team player

• Good analytical and organization skills

• Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill
