About the role

Builders 85 Pte Ltd, a leading construction company based in the Woodlands North Region, is seeking a skilled and experienced M&E Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and overseeing the mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of our construction projects, ensuring seamless project delivery and optimum efficiency.

Job Description

• Coordinate and liaise with M&E subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality completion of M&E works

• Review and approve M&E shop drawings, method statements and other technical submissions

• Monitor and track the progress of M&E works, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to M&E activities

• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as needed

• Collaborate with the project management team to optimize project workflows and deliverables

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an M&E Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry in Singapore

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection

• Proficient in reading and interpreting M&E drawings, specifications, and other technical documents

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail

• Proven track record of delivering M&E projects on time and within budget

• Familiarity with construction management software and tools
