About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Hougang North-East Region office on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to manage project scope, resources, and risks whilst maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence and safety compliance. This position offers strategic importance within our organisation, as you will play a key role in driving project success and contributing to our continued growth and reputation for delivering outstanding results.

What you'll be doing

1. Plan, organise, and execute engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

2. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key metrics and any issues requiring escalation

3. Lead and coordinate engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback

4. Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed

5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives

6. Review technical specifications, designs, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

7. Manage project budgets, procurement processes, and resource allocation to optimise cost-efficiency

8. Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify work meets contractual and safety requirements

9. Implement and maintain project documentation systems and maintain comprehensive project records

10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across the organisation

11. Prepare/review PLC/RTU control philosophy, create & standardize PLC functional templates for best engineering practices

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification

2. Minimum of 5 years experience in design and project execution in Automation System or mixed Operational System

3. Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary environment

4. Possess Class 3 license with own vehicle is an added advantage

5. Possess PMP certification would be an advantage
