Key Responsibilities
Quality Engineering & Planning
Framework Development: Author and maintain robust quality control plans, manufacturing protocols, and operational inspection standards.
Risk Management: Team up with Engineering, Production, and Logistics to perform proactive risk assessments and design out potential failure modes.
Metric Ownership: Monitor and drive performance metrics, including first-pass yield, defect rates, and operational throughput.
Audit, Compliance & Inspection
System Auditing: Lead routine system and process audits ensuring strict compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and advanced industrial guidelines.
Regulatory Alignment: Verify that all equipment assemblies and components satisfy international regulatory benchmarks (including CE, UL, and industry-specific certifications).
Controlled Environments: Oversee contamination control procedures and protocol compliance inside micro-environment assembly lines.
Continuous Improvement & Root-Cause Analysis
Defect Resolution: Direct deep-dive investigations into production anomalies and customer feedback loops using 8D, Fishbone, and Pareto frameworks.
Process Optimization: Deploy Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste, eliminate errors, and bolster production yield.
Design Partnership: Collaborate with product designers to optimize Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR).
Safety & Documentation
Workplace EHS: Actively participate in site Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, execute task risk assessments, and advocate for strict PPE rule compliance.
Records Control: Maintain exact product lifecycle documentation, master records, and data-driven quality performance dashboards for management visibility.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or a highly relevant technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on quality or process engineering experience within a complex precision manufacturing, high-tech hardware assembly, or micro-component production environment.
Technical Skills: Exceptional ability to read, interpret, and evaluate complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
Methodologies: Proficient in statistical analytics, SPC, FMEA, and structured root-cause tools (8D).
Enterprise Tools: Practical familiarity with ERP or PLM systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Agile).
Traits: Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams, excellent time management, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Preferred Assets: Professional certifications like ASQ CQE/CQT or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are highly advantageous.
