Project Engineer (2 years contract) - #1163270

About the role

Our client is a leading specialist in chemical and gas systems, serving the semiconductor, LCD, LED, and solar industries. They are looking for a motivated Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join their team on a 2-year contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Fully in charge of project execution at client sites for chemical system projects

• Report to project manager on project status, schedule and daily site works

• Attend site checks and clarifications with clients; prepare project budget sheets and quotations

• Prepare overall project schedules, construction and installation plans

• Prepare and present project weekly and monthly reports to clients and management teams

• Plan site construction and equipment installation work

• Lead a team of sub-contractors to execute piping, cable installation and chemical flushing work

• Co-ordinate with client or main-con person in charge for site work arrangement

• Perform daily and weekly inspections to ensure work safety and compliance to client EHS rules

• Perform troubleshooting of chemical systems and manage material and spare parts stock on-site

About you

• At least Diploma holder in Mechanical or E&I Engineering Field

• At least 2 years of relevant project handling experience in semi-conductor field

• Possess good project management skills; capable in leading and managing project team

• Understanding of P&ID and process chart for chemical systems

• Good adaptability and flexibility; good interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in MS office, MS Project, Auto CAD skill

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good leadership and project handling skill

Working Hours: 8:30AM - 6PM (Mon - Fri)
