CSSD Technician (rotating shift/ west) - #1163128

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning, inspection, packing, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments, medical supplies, and sterile items.

• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, conduct quality checks, and ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.

• Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and issue sterile supplies to clinical areas in a timely manner.

• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules, report faulty equipment, and coordinate repairs or replacements when required.

• Liaise with healthcare staff to support procedural and operational requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and ensure smooth daily operations.

• Provide guidance to junior staff, support team collaboration, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Carry out other duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Sterilisation Services) is an advantage.

• At least 1 year of experience in sterilization services, CSSD, TSSU, or a similar healthcare environment preferred.
