Application Engineer/ Sales Support (Healthcare/ MNC/ AWS + VB) HY86 - #1163125

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide sales support through equipment installation, system setup, demonstrations, and user training for both hardware and software.

• Deliver after-sales service and technical support to customers in Singapore and selected ASEANcountries.

• Offer application and technical expertise to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions that meet customer research and operational needs.

• Support product launches, workshops, seminars, and marketing events, including preparation of demonstration materials.

• Prepare and handle biological samples for system demonstrations, evaluations, and training purposes.

• Collaborate closely with sales, service, and regional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

• Maintain proper documentation, training records, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Science or Engineering (e.g. Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related fields).

• This role requires strong technical capability and the ability to master complex optical microscopy systems, including imaging principles, system alignment, fluorescence/laser concepts, and advanced troubleshooting.

• Candidates should expect a steep learning curve and must be comfortable with continuous self-driven learning.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Well-organized, self-motivated, reliable, and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders effectively.

• Willingness to undertake occasional overseas travel within the ASEAN region when required.
