Accountant (Project Accounting) - basic up to $5000, East region - #1163114

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements and reports

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenses

• Process invoices, payments, and ensure timely reconciliation

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

• Prepare and submit regulatory compliance reports (GST, CPF, tax, etc.)

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking

• Support internal and external audits as required

• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in project-based or construction accounting

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar)

• Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory compliance requirements in Singapore

• Good analytical, communication, and time-management skills

• Meticulous, self-driven, and able to work independently

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
