About the Role

We are hiring R&D Process Technicians to support advanced packaging R&D and pilot-line activities. The role focuses on slot coating, wet clean, wet etch, chemical preparation, equipment operation, process monitoring, troubleshooting and documentation. You will work closely with engineers to support DOE runs, process qualification and new technology development.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate slot coater, wet bench, wet clean or wet etch equipment for R&D and pilot-line processing

• Support panel-level coating, photoresist or polymer material processing

• Prepare, mix, dilute, replenish and manage chemical solutions according to SOP

• Support wet clean and etch processes such as Cu/Ti etching, surface preparation and residue removal

• Monitor key process parameters such as temperature, time, flow rate, chemical concentration, coating speed and dispense pressure

• Perform basic inspection for coating uniformity, defects, residues, corrosion or process abnormalities

• Carry out preventive maintenance, tool qualification and basic troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot issues such as coating non-uniformity, flow instability, clogging, chemical flow issues or etching abnormalities

• Maintain process logs, equipment records, chemical usage tracking and shift handover updates

• Follow cleanroom, chemical safety, PPE and EHS requirements at all times

Requirements

• Nitec / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Chemical / Materials or related)

• Experience in chemical handling

• 1 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor, advanced packaging, cleanroom, coating, wet process or chemical process environment

• Experience with slot coater, spin coating, dispense tools, wet bench, wet etch or chemical handling will be an advantage

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship, lab or cleanroom exposure may be considered

• 12-hour shift / rotating shift may be required
