Repair Engineer (MRO – Aerospace) - #1162881

We are seeking a Repair Engineer to support aerospace engine component repair development within an MRO environment. The role focuses on developing and improving repair processes, ensuring OEM compliance, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, initiate, and qualify new repair processes for aero-engine components

• Prepare and maintain repair work instructions and technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with OEM technical data and aviation regulatory requirements

• Design tooling and fixtures to support repair processes

• Support machine and process qualification activities

• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) reporting and validation

• Provide technical support and engineering dispositions to production teams

• Drive process improvements to enhance repair yield, efficiency, and robustness

• Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent

• 3–5 years of experience in aerospace MRO, repair, or overhaul environment

• Knowledge of aerospace repair processes (e.g. welding, thermal spray, heat treatment, brazing, chemical cleaning, shot peening, machining)

• Experience in tooling/fixture design and repair documentation

• Strong understanding of OEM standards and regulatory requirements
