Monday - Friday (9am -5.30pm),
Alternate Saturday (9-1pm)
Job Duties:
- Manage end to end airfreight import and export shipments, including bookings, documentation, customs clearance, billing, and shipment completion.
- Serve as the main point of contract for customers, providing shipment updates, resolving enquiries, and ensuring excellent service
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, and customs authorities to ensure timely and compliant shipment execution.
-Monitor shipment performance, maintain accurate operational records, and proactively resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational challenges
-Support continuous operational improvement by compliance with company procedures, mentoring junior staff, and escalating critical issues when required
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of airfreight import processes, documentation, and customs requirements
- Strong operational and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple airfreight import shipments simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and proactive approach
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with internal teams, carriers, and independently
