Position Summary
The Accounts Assistant supports the daily accounting and finance operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process supplier invoices and verify supporting documents.
Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare and issue invoices to Intercompany.
Record receipts and update customer account.
Bank & Cash Management
Perform bank reconciliations.
Record and monitor cash transactions.
General Accounting
Maintain accurate accounting records and data entry.
Assist in month-end, quarterly GST and year-end closing activities.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
Administrative Support
Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
Assist with procurement and inventory records when required.
Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma, LCCI, A-Level, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
