Regional Sales Head – Banking & Lending Software Solutions (ASEAN)

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Sales Head to lead sales across Southeast Asia. This is a hunter-plus-farmer role — driving new business while managing existing key accounts — leading a team of 8–10 sales professionals across the region, and working closely with a regional presales/solutions team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional sales team, including performance evaluations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams

• Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders (banks)

• Negotiate and close strategic deals and partnerships to hit sales targets

• Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape

• Set and track KPIs for the sales team

• Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipeline

• Provide regular updates to executive leadership on performance, trends, and strategy

About you

• 15+ years of experience in regional sales leadership within a technology company

• Background selling FinTech/software solutions into banks (strong understanding of banking & financial services software)

• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth

• Strong existing network with decision-makers within banks across the region

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Strategic thinker, comfortable both leading high-level strategy discussions and rolling up sleeves
