We’re Hiring: Finance Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

As our business continues to expand from a traditional retail operation into a multi-outlet, brand-driven, and systemized organization, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Manager to join our team.

This role goes beyond conventional accounting. You will play a key role in building a robust financial management framework that transforms financial data into meaningful business insights, enabling management to make informed decisions, improve profitability, strengthen cost control, and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Management Reporting

  • Prepare and enhance monthly financial reports, outlet profit & loss statements, cost analysis, and cash flow reports.

  • Establish and standardize financial reporting frameworks covering company-wide performance, outlet-level profitability, and product-level analysis.

  • Identify profit fluctuations, unusual expenses, and operational risks through financial data analysis.

  • Provide meaningful business insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Cost Control & Gross Profit Management

  • Develop and maintain product costing models, including raw materials, packaging, processing costs, and wastage.

  • Conduct gross profit analysis by outlet, product category, and individual SKU.

  • Support pricing strategies, promotional evaluations, and profitability optimization initiatives.

Inventory Management & Traceability

  • Strengthen inventory control processes between warehouses and retail outlets.

  • Ensure full traceability of stock movements, transfers, consumption, and wastage.

  • Prepare monthly inventory variance reports and identify discrepancies, abnormal losses, or process gaps.

  • Establish slow-moving inventory and overstock monitoring mechanisms to improve inventory turnover.

Cash Flow & Risk Management

  • Manage cash flow planning and payment approvals.

  • Develop cash flow forecasting models aligned with business priorities.

  • Review supplier reconciliations, expense claims, and payment requests.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive controls and monitoring.

  • Establish budget control and expenditure approval processes.

Financial Systems & Process Improvement

  • Design and implement financial SOPs suitable for a multi-outlet retail environment.

  • Drive integration between ERP, POS, inventory, and accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Define clear financial responsibilities and workflow standards across departments, including Operations, Purchasing, and Warehouse.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

  • Strengthen financial awareness, cost management capabilities, and risk control within the team.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational and financial issues.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience in finance management, cost accounting, financial process improvement, or system implementation.

  • Experience in Retail, F&B, Food Manufacturing, Chain Operations, or FMCG industries will be highly preferred.

Core Competencies

  • Strong business partnering mindset with the ability to connect financial data to business performance.

  • Proven experience in building financial processes and controls from the ground up.

  • Proficient in Excel, financial systems, and ERP platforms.

  • Experience integrating POS, ERP, inventory, and accounting systems is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.

  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, resilient, and able to drive change across departments.
