What You'll Do
As our Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Day-to-Day Operations: Assist in the daily accounting functions to ensure all financial records are kept up to date and accurate.
Invoice & Receipt Processing: Prepare and process outgoing invoices and incoming receipts efficiently, ensuring correct coding and timely entry into our systems.
Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and supplier account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Data Management & Filing: Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all financial documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards.
Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules for management review.
General Administrative Support: Provide general support to the senior accountants and finance manager as needed to ensure the smooth financial operation of the company.

Meticulous & Detail-Oriented: Possesses a high level of attention to detail and a meticulous approach to all tasks, ensuring accuracy in data entry and financial documentation. You're someone who thrives on getting the numbers right.
Follows Instructions Precisely: Able to diligently follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Analytical Thinker: Demonstrates strong analytical skills to identify patterns, reconcile accounts, and spot potential errors.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs) for seamless collaboration. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or SQL) is a significant advantage, but not a strict requirement if you're a fast learner.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable and adept at using various technological tools to enhance efficiency in accounting tasks.
Independence: Demonstrates the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for clear and effective interactions with team members and suppliers.
