Finance Manager - Manufacturing Reporting & Compliance (2 years contract) - #1162541

We are partnering with MNC manufacturing client to hire Finance Manager for 2 years contract role based in Singapore.



This role operates in a review and oversight capacity, acting as a key gatekeeper to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of finance processes and outputs. It is an individual contributor role with no team management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities
• Perform in-depth review of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules
• Act as a gatekeeper for financial integrity, ensuring adherence to internal controls and policies
• Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and audit requirements, including coordination with external auditors and advisors
• Provide oversight of finance operations processes, identifying control gaps and driving improvements
• Partner with stakeholders on intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Support cross-border and transfer pricing matters
• Drive process improvements, standardisation, and governance enhancements

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
• 10-20 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or finance
• Strong experience in financial reporting, closing, and statutory compliance
• Solid knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Prior exposure to reviewing, approving, or governing finance processes
• Experience in MNC manufacturing environment preferred
• Comfortable operating in a hands-off, oversight and governance-focused role
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
