Matrix management from Group Technical Director and local General Manager, your roles and responsibilities as below

- Leading technical teams, allocation resources and providing guidance on technical direction.

- Overseeing the technical aspects of the company’s operations, implement technical strategies and ensure the quality of technical work.

- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective technical strategies and processes, and leading Design for manufacturability (DFM) process.

- Aligning technology with business goals and management objectives, including new technology investment evaluation.

- Overseeing technical projects from initiation to completion, developing projects plans, setting timelines and managing budgets.

- Participate in sourcing and development of new material to meet technical requirements

- Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Keeping accurate documentation of all processes and procedures in the company

- Liaise on RMA issues (CAR, 8D etc) and compliance issues (quality survey/audit etc), troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions

- Participate actively in Continuous Improvement activities and identifying cost-saving opportunities

- Participate actively to prevent nonconformity relating to product, internal processes and clauses related to Management Systems.

- Develop, expand and maintain in-house laboratory facility/equipment

- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications

1. Good relevant technical, engineering or science degree

2. Creative mindset and positive approach to problem solving, with an innovative thought process.

3. High level of energy; strong execution ability; proven management skills, ie leading a team.

4. Strong communication skills, with experience in customers fronting roles and good presentation skills.

5. At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in an innovative fast paced environment, preferably in sectors related to printing, material converting, or its supply chain.

6. Strong material and material science knowledge and experience.

7. Experience of working in a laboratory based or cleanroom environment
