Responsibilities:
Accounting functions:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts receivable, Fixed assets register
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
Perform monthly closing of entity accounts and preparation of financial statements
Prepare quarterly GST report
Perform prompt daily invoice processing in ERP system (Netsuite) for SG and MY and JP
Monitor month-end Accounts Receivable status and reconciliation
HR functions:
Recruitment and Selections
Liaise with recruitment agencies, educational and professional institutions, online networking platforms to support recruitment drive
Job advertisement posting on job portals and government employment portal ( MyCareersFuture )
Perform preliminary resume screenings
Conduct interviews with Hiring Managers from respective department
Compliance and Legal Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to employment laws in SG and MY
Maintain on-boarding/ off-boarding and personnel documentation
Handle MOM-related matters
Professional Training and Development
Collaboration with HOD in assessment of employee training needs
Support HOD to ensure succession planning and skill gap coverage
Sourcing of relevant training programs and skills development workshops eg SkillsFuture, Workforce Singapore
Government Schemes and Grants
Research and explore to tap on applicable government schemes and grants programs
Leave Applications
Recording of unpaid leave applications for employees under probation
Staff Wellness and Welfare Benefits
Keep track of individual employee benefits entitlement and consumption
Co-ordination of events such as birth, bereavement, hospitalisation etc
Employee Medical Insurance Plan and Health Screening
Update new employee data in Singlife portal
Executive Health Screening
Verification of billing details
Medical Insurance plan and Health Screening package renewals
Employee Handbook and Policy
Update and maintain HR policies, procedures to ensure best practices across SG and MY
Requirements
Degree in Accounting / ACCA or its other equivalent
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience
3. Good employment and legal knowledge to ensure compliance with regulations under MOM, Income Tax, CPF and other statutory requirements
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Meticulous, Self-driven with great initiative, Independent
Positive mindset with multi-tasking capability
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling all HR information
