Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the dormitory and supervise Dormitory ICs to ensure smooth and efficient dormitory management.
Manage residents’ check-in, check-out, room allocation, and maintain accurate records of occupancy, bed availability, and residents’ information.
Monitor and guide Dormitory ICs in carrying out daily duties, including cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and workers’ welfare matters.
Handle the issuance and control of access cards, keys, and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
Conduct regular inspections of dormitory rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
Enforce dormitory rules, safety procedures, and ensure residents comply with dormitory regulations.
Coordinate maintenance, repair works, and follow up with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely rectification of issues.
Handle residents’ enquiries, complaints, welfare matters, disciplinary issues, incidents, and emergency situations, and escalate matters to Management when necessary.
Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, FEDA/JTC licensing requirements, dormitory standards, and company policies.
Coordinate and manage dormitory licence renewals, including preparation and submission of necessary documents to relevant authorities.
Prepare for and coordinate MOM inspections and other regulatory audits, including follow-up on corrective actions and rectification works.
Liaise with government agencies, employers, contractors, and relevant external parties regarding dormitory operational matters.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, maintain proper records, and provide updates to Management.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in dormitory operations, facilities management, worker accommodation, or a related field.
Familiar with MOM regulations, FEDA/JTC licensing requirements, and dormitory compliance matters will be an advantage.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage workers from different nationalities and handle operational issues effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsible, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Conditions:
Full-time position.
May be required to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and public holidays, to attend to operational needs, emergencies, or inspections when required.
